Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Booking and Logistics
Yes. Once your booking is confirmed, we will share your nanny’s WhatsApp number (usually scheduled a weeks/months in advance) so you can introduce yourself and your children prior to your arrival.
Yes! Our professional nannies are in high demand, particularly during peak holiday seasons. To ensure you don’t miss out and to secure the same nanny for your entire stay—which is our company preference for your family’s comfort—we highly recommend booking well in advance.
Simply contact us with your holiday details, including dates, the number of children, ages, personalities, and any special needs. Our management team will then carefully select the best nanny from our experienced team and contact you to confirm your booking and arrangements.
We will confirm your meeting point when booking. Your nanny can greet you upon arrival at the airport or meet you directly at your hotel or villa reception. They are easily recognisable in their well-known red uniform and warm smile.
Care and Safety
Yes! Our nannies are confident supervising children in the pool and at the beach. Safety is always the priority, and children are kept within arm’s reach at all times.
For safety and quality of care, one nanny supervises up to two children. If one child is under 1 year old, please contact us directly so we can ensure the safest, most tailored arrangements.
Our professional nannies ensure your children are safe, happy, and well cared for. Duties include:

- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Feeding babies and young children, including bottle feeding
- Settling children for naps and bedtime routines
- All bathing, dressing, and changing diapers and sanitising bottles
- Organising fun activities, games, and creative play with age-appropriate toys
- Reading, storytelling, and engaging in learning through play throughout the day/night
- Watching out for safety risks (balconies, water, small objects, etc.)
- Providing comfort, care, and complete engagement throughout the day, keeping them thoroughly entertained.
Please share all details when you contact us. Many of our nannies have experience caring for children with allergies, developmental differences, or medical needs. We’ll do our best to match you with a nanny who has the right experience.
This is rare, as our nannies are carefully selected for your family, but if you feel it isn’t the right fit, please contact us right away. We will do our very best to provide another nanny so that you and your children feel completely comfortable and happy during your holiday.
All our nannies are First Aid certified and know the direct routes to the best pediatric care. In Koh Samui, we coordinate with Bangkok Hospital, known for its excellent English-speaking doctors and modern facilities. For Phuket and Chiang Mai, similar top-tier hospital protocols are in place.
Communication and Routines
Yes, all of our nannies speak conversational English. While accents and levels may vary, communication with parents and children is always clear and caring. Our nannies have years of experience working with international families.
The first day is all about helping your nanny get to know your children. We recommend taking a time to sit together and share important details, including eating habits, sleeping routines, daily routines, and family preferences (like screen time rules). This ensures a smooth and happy start to your holiday.
Tell us about play areas, activities they enjoy, mealtimes, allergies, sleep routines, and any special behaviours (e.g., climbing, dashing to the pool, mouthing small objects). The more you share, the safer and happier your child will be.

A standard shift is 8 hours, which includes a meal break. You set the daily schedule and confirm the next day’s timing directly with your nanny.
Travel and Culture
Tipping is not required, but it is always very much appreciated. Many families choose to give a tip at the end of their holiday as a way of saying thank you for the nanny’s hard work, care, and dedication. The amount is entirely up to you and should reflect how happy you were with the service.
Our nannies take great pride in their professional role. Please treat them with the utmost respect and consideration. Note that showing appreciation with a thank-you or a tip is always appropriate, but physical contact like hugging may be culturally inappropriate unless you are both married.
Absolutely. Nannies are happy to travel around the island with you and may even share local tips. If you’d like them to travel overnight to neighbouring islands (like Koh Tao or Koh Phangan), please cover all expenses plus an extra 1,000 THB per day for an “away from home allowance.” Please contact our office to arrange this.
